Welcome Pa Modou Kah! Team Play Better’s Newest Member
Who is Pa Modou Kah? A Norwegian international soccer player for the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Major League Soccer.
Pa was born in Banjul, The Gambia, but emigrated to Norway in 1988 with my family when he was eight years old. He began my soccer career with Vålerenga in 1998 appearing in 94 league matches and scoring 9 goals. In 2000 Pa went on to have a trial with Manchester United.
In the summer of 2003, he moved to Swedish club AIK as part of the club’s efforts to win the championship. In 2004 he then transferred to Dutch club Roda JC, making nearly 200 league appearances.
After seven years in the Netherlands, Pa decided to spend time in Qatar & Saudi Arabia before moving to the U.S in 2013 where he signed with the Portland Timbers.
Pa then transferred to the Vancouver Whitecaps in 2015 and won the Canadian Championship.
We are stoked to welcome Pa Modou Kah to the Play Better family! Look out for him in the coming months rewarding kids for learning out to play the beautiful game of soccer the right way!
